About The Position

The Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests as part of the hotel's effort to deliver outstanding guest service. The role supports housekeeping and laundry operations when needed and includes delivering items to guests, maintaining supplies, and reporting maintenance issues, room damage, or missing property. The position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to lift and move moderate weight and remain active for extended periods.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of hotel grounds, entrances, storage facilities, trash areas, guest and back-of-house hallways, elevators, staircases, and guest rooms.
• Communicate maintenance issues, room damage, or missing property to managers.
• Interact with teammates and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Deliver items to hotel guests as directed.
• Assist with TV remotes, TV boxes, thermostats, jacuzzi tubs, light fixtures, phones, and moving furniture.
• Support laundry and/or housekeeping departments when needed.
• Distribute linen, housekeeping supplies, and room amenities properly.
• Stock carts with cleaning and paper supplies.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
