About The Position
Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a full-time, service-oriented Houseperson to help maintain hotel public areas and assist with guest-room needs. The role supports the company’s hospitality-focused service culture and requires working nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary. The hiring process may include a phone interview, manager interviews, a drug screen, background and reference checks, and a potential employment assessment. Specific compensation and benefit details will be discussed during the interview process. Paid Time Off is available to eligible associates under the company’s PTO policy.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school education.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a housekeeping role.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Ability to exceed guest expectations.
- Knowledge of cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, and stairwells, to meet quality standards.
- Strip guest rooms of linen and trash when necessary.
- Clean bathrooms; dust furniture and pictures; vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Empty carts of soiled linen and dispose of trash.
- Remove spots, insects, and debris; polish fixtures and clean ashtrays.
- Deliver requested items to rooms and assist with cleaning guest rooms as needed.
- Work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
