About The Position

The Houseperson supports the housekeeping department by preparing it for daily operations and assisting room attendants. The role includes cleaning hallways and public areas, removing trash and linens, stocking closets, delivering requested items to guest rooms, and helping maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the property. The Houseperson is expected to take pride in their work, attend to detail, and interact warmly and professionally with guests.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and linens from guestrooms according to standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors, stairs, and guest amenities such as Nooks and hydration stations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of linen closets.
• Clean and maintain the appearance of hotel lobbies, hallways, public restrooms, and other public areas.
• Deep clean assigned property areas, including shampooing rooms and elevators.
• Deliver housekeeping items to guest rooms upon request.
• Check and replenish supplies and cleaning tools.
• Greet each guest warmly and professionally.
