About The Position

The Best Western Plus University Inn & Conference Center is seeking a part-time Houseperson to provide services to the hotel, primarily assisting the housekeeping and breakfast departments. The role involves cleaning and vacuuming guest rooms, maintaining tidy and clean lobby and breakfast areas, and responding to guest requests. The work is performed in an indoor hotel environment and involves frequent use of standard cleaning equipment and chemicals. The position requires physical activity, attention to detail, and availability to work weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Attention to detail.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform physically active work.
• Passion for keeping things clean and tidy and motivation to enhance the guest experience.
• Time management skills.
• Housekeeping experience preferred; hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
