About The Position

The Best Western Plus University Inn & Conference Center is seeking a part-time Houseperson to provide services throughout the hotel, primarily assisting the housekeeping and breakfast departments. The role involves keeping guest rooms and shared areas clean and tidy, responding to guest requests, and helping enhance the guest experience. It is an active role in an indoor hotel environment that requires attention to detail, independence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. The position pays $14.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Attention to detail.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform physically active work.

• Housekeeping experience, preferably hotel housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Clean and vacuum guest rooms.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the lobby.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the breakfast area.
• Respond to guest requests.
• Assist housekeeping and breakfast departments with a variety of tasks.
