About The Position
Onix Hospitality is seeking a Houseperson to maintain the cleanliness of public and guest areas at Comfort Suites Downtown Orlando. The role covers areas including hallways, the lobby, breakfast area, exterior, corridors, service areas, and linen closets. The Houseperson may also clean guest rooms when needed, assist with luggage handling, and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Any combination of education, training, and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.
Nice To Haves
- Grade school education is preferred.
- Previous hotel-related experience is desired.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness of public and guest areas, including hallways, the lobby, breakfast area, and exterior.
- Clean corridors, guest areas, service areas, and linen closets.
- Clean guest rooms when needed.
- Deposit linen down the chute and carry trash to the dumpster.
- Stock supplies in linen closets.
- Vacuum and clean public areas, including floors, windows, tables, and chairs.
- Check public restrooms for cleanliness several times daily.
- Check elevators for cleanliness and polish other surfaces.
- Check lights and change bulbs in public areas.
- Sweep and mop service areas.
- Mop vending machine areas and keep machines clean.
- Assist with luggage handling.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
