About The Position
The Houseperson/Runner assists and supports Supervisors and Housekeepers in meeting quality and timeliness standards while following the company’s mission and values. The role helps prepare and maintain resort units by handling linens, supplies, trash, equipment, and deliveries; reporting maintenance and lost-and-found items; and assisting guests and owners. The Houseperson is expected to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, organization, customer service, and punctuality, and to perform other site-operation duties as directed by the Executive Housekeeper. Requirements
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds, with or without accommodation.
- Ability to make decisions.

- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

- Willingness to work irregular hours.
- A valid driver's license is required for certain locations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of excellence.
- Stock storage closets and keep them clean and organized.
- Assist with stripping units of soiled linens as directed.
- Remove soiled linens and trash from units.
- Prepare linen and supply bags as directed and deliver them to units.
- Walk assigned buildings or floors to ensure they are clear of linens, trash, and equipment.
- Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedure.
- Report lost-and-found items to the Executive Housekeeper.
- Move furniture as directed.
- Help ensure a safe working environment at each site and office.
- Perform duties related to site operation as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
- Maintain urgency so units are turned on time and arrive promptly for assignments and appointments.
- Use supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively.
- Assist with linen inventories and supplies as directed.
- Help resolve guest complaints promptly and build positive customer relations.
- Assist resort guests and owners and make guest deliveries as directed.
- Maintain knowledge of the resort.
