About The Position
The Houseperson/Janitor helps deliver memorable guest experiences by maintaining the cleanliness of designated hotel areas and providing warm, helpful service. The role is based at the 340-suite Embassy Suites by Hilton San Francisco Airport Waterfront, a scenic hotel overlooking San Francisco Bay. The position also supports housekeeping operations through supply organization, assistance with room cleaning, periodic deep-cleaning projects, and reporting maintenance needs.
Requirements
- Schedule flexibility, including availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete special projects.

Nice To Haves
- Prior professional cleaning experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean designated public areas, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and event spaces.
- Dust and polish furniture, vacuum and mop floors, wash windows, and empty trash.
- Greet guests warmly, deliver requested items, and assist with room cleaning as needed.
- Stock housekeeping carts and organize supply rooms.
- Perform periodic deep-cleaning projects, including flipping mattresses, moving furniture, and waxing floors.
- Identify and report repair needs or maintenance deficiencies.
