About The Position

The Houseman supports hotel or resort housekeeping operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and functionality across guest rooms, public areas, storage rooms, and work areas. The role helps ensure guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay by assisting housekeeping staff, responding to requests from housekeeping and front desk teams, and supporting meeting and event space needs.

The Houseman also transports and distributes linens, towels, and supplies; maintains equipment and storage; assists with laundry operations; and reports maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department. The position requires physical work, attention to cleanliness and safety, teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to assist wherever needed.

Requirements

• Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently.
• Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations.

• Respond promptly to requests from housekeeping and front desk teams.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Support the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms or event spaces as required.
• Help manage laundry operations by sorting and distributing linens efficiently.
