About The Position
The Houseman is a full-time member of the Housekeeping team and provides support to Room Attendants and other team members. The role requires open availability Monday through Sunday and the ability to speak English; bilingual ability is a plus. Previous experience is a plus. The position requires post-offer employment verifications, motor vehicle checks, and criminal background checks. Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, guest floors, and other hotel areas.
- Support Room Attendants by stripping beds, removing and replacing linen, emptying wastebaskets, and stocking supplies.
- Transport linen carts with clean laundry from the laundry room to storage rooms on each floor.
- Transport trash from guest floors to dumpsters.
- Clean and organize items stored in the laundry room, supply and storage closets, linen room, and/or uniform room.
- Identify and report preventative maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships.
