About The Position

Team members in the housekeeping department are responsible for attending to the facility with integrity and attention to detail. The role supports Allen Harim’s vision, mission, and values and performs cleaning and facility upkeep, including restroom servicing, floor care, surface cleaning, equipment inspection, and trash removal. Other assignments may be given as needed.

Requirements

Possess superior interpersonal and communication skills.
Five years of industrial refrigeration experience.
Ability to make decisions and remain calm in high-stress situations.
Ability to communicate with employees at all levels, outside vendors, and government agencies.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Advanced attention to detail.
Advanced communication skills; frequent communication is required.
Basic PC skills.
Ability to enter all areas of the plant and offices, including areas with hot and cold temperatures and varying noise levels.
Ability to regularly lift 40 pounds or more.
Ability to bend, reach, stand, squat, walk, and climb stairs.

Nice To Haves

Experience in plant housekeeping is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support Allen Harim’s vision, mission, and values.
Restock restroom supplies and ensure cleaning supplies are stored properly.
Inspect equipment for cleanliness and repair, and make minor repairs personally.
Steam-clean carpets.
Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
Mix various cleaning agents.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean.
Apply wax to floors and buff them.
Apply sealant to floors.
Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
Remove trash from the facility.
Perform other assignments as needed.
