About The Position

Team members in the housekeeping department are responsible for attending to the facility with integrity and attention to detail. The role supports Allen Harim’s vision, mission, and values and performs cleaning and upkeep duties throughout the facility and offices. The work may involve wet conditions, odors, hot and cold temperatures, chilled warehouse or ice-box storage conditions, and moderate to extreme noise. Safety protection is provided. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time; this job description does not constitute a written or implied contract of employment.

Requirements

Possess superior interpersonal and communication skills.
Five years of industrial refrigeration experience.
Ability to make decisions and remain calm under high-stress situations.
Ability to communicate with employees at all levels, outside vendors, and government agencies.
Excellent problem-solving skills; advanced proficiency stated.
Excellent communication skills; advanced proficiency stated.
Basic PC skills.
Ability to lift 40 pounds or more on a regular basis.
Ability to bend, reach, stand, squat, walk, and climb stairs.
Ability to enter all areas of the plant and offices, including areas with hot and cold temperatures and varying noise levels.

Nice To Haves

Experience in plant housekeeping is preferred.

Responsibilities

Restock restroom supplies and ensure cleaning supplies are stored properly.
Inspect equipment for cleanliness and repair, and make minor repairs.
Steam-clean carpets.
Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces; mix cleaning agents.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
Dust furniture and scrub surfaces.
Apply wax to floors and buff them; apply floor sealant.
Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
Remove trash from the facility.
Perform other assignments as needed.
