About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping operations. The role supports the company’s service culture and focuses on maintaining clean, well-maintained guest suites and public areas, ensuring associates have the proper supplies and equipment, and promoting safe work practices. The supervisor performs housekeeping duties as needed, monitors room status and hotel cleanliness, and may act as Manager on Duty. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required as necessary.

Requirements

At least two years of experience in a leadership housekeeping position.
At least a high school education.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
Excellent time management skills.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Nice To Haves

Post-high-school education is preferred.
Bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

Inspect assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, and linens are clean and in good repair.
Ensure associates have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms, including nametags, gloves, and goggles.
Train associates on safety standards and consistently enforce those standards.
Identify unsafe behaviors and retrain associates appropriately.
Complete accident investigations and take steps to prevent future accidents.
Perform housekeeping duties as necessary, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning.
Verify and update the status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
Select assigned rooms at random to check cleanliness.
Perform opening and closing shift duties.
Notify the General Manager and/or Chief Engineer of necessary maintenance repairs.
Monitor the cleanliness of the hotel, including the parking lot and exterior entrances.
Act as Manager on Duty when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
