About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping operations and help uphold the company’s service culture. The role includes inspecting suites and public areas, ensuring associates have appropriate supplies and equipment, reinforcing safety standards, and performing housekeeping duties as needed. The supervisor may also act as Manager on Duty and must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Requirements

Minimum of two years in a leadership housekeeping position.
Minimum of a high school education.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
Excellent time management skills.

Nice To Haves

Post-high-school education preferred.
Bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

Inspect assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, and linens are clean and in good repair.
Ensure associates have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms, including nametags, gloves, and goggles.
Train associates on safety standards and consistently enforce those standards.
Identify unsafe behaviors, retrain associates as appropriate, investigate accidents, and take steps to prevent future accidents.
Perform housekeeping duties as necessary, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning.
Verify and update the status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
Randomly select assigned rooms to check cleanliness.
Perform opening and closing shift duties.
Notify the General Manager and/or Chief Engineer of necessary maintenance repairs.
Monitor the cleanliness of the hotel, including the parking lot and exterior entrances.
Act as Manager on Duty when required.
Work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
