About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor maintains a clean and safe community for residents, family members, guests, and associates by coordinating and directing all housekeeping services. The role includes inspecting facilities and associates’ work, arranging cleaning and maintenance services, addressing service or equipment complaints, and hiring and managing effective associates. The supervisor is expected to stay current with applicable OSHA laws and other regulations.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• 3–5 years’ experience as a supervisor and/or in a housekeeping lead role.
• Bring a smile to work every day.
• Be a great team player.

Nice To Haves

• Some college preferred.
• Technical training or certification, such as from the National Environmental Health Association, is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities.
• Inspect associates’ work performance.
• Schedule general cleaning before move-ins and after move-outs.
• Investigate complaints about service and equipment.
• Arrange services such as painting, repair work, and renovations.
• Interview, hire, train, manage, and retain highly effective associates.
• Remain updated on changing OSHA laws and other regulations.
