Housekeeping Supervisor
About The Position
The Housekeeping Supervisor leads the Rooms Division housekeeping team and oversees housekeeping operations to support exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence. The role includes developing staff, maintaining cleanliness standards, managing operational resources, and responding to guest concerns. Duties may adapt to meet evolving business needs. Offers are contingent on background checks, and adherence to Newport Handbook policies is required. Requirements
- At least 3 years of housekeeping experience; at least 1 year in a supervisory role is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to perform job requirements.

Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and develop housekeeping and laundry staff, fostering a positive and high-performing environment.
- Maintain high cleanliness standards across guest rooms and public areas.
- Manage budgets, optimize staffing, and control inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety and company standards.
- Promptly address guest concerns and implement programs to enhance the guest experience.
