About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations at Hyatt Place Phoenix North, ensuring guest rooms, facilities, and equipment meet cleanliness and sanitation standards. The supervisor leads and trains Room Attendants and House Attendants, monitors inspections, reports, and productivity, and supports smooth daily operations. The role also includes responsibility for lost-and-found items, key control, and access to sensitive areas. The supervisor steps in when the Housekeeping Manager is away. The hotel is located just off I-17 in North Phoenix, near Glendale attractions. It has spacious rooms with separate work areas and Cozy Corner sleeper sofas, The Placery food and beverage service, and 900 square feet of flexible meeting space. After an initial waiting period, employees hired into full-time positions are eligible for a benefits package. Daily Pay is also offered; applicants can ask the recruiter for details.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two to three years of experience in a hotel or related field.

Nice To Haves

College coursework in a related field.
Previous supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including inspections, reports, and productivity checks.
Lead, motivate, and communicate with Room Attendants and House Attendants.
Provide hands-on training to housekeeping team members.
Handle lost-and-found items carefully.
Maintain key control and manage access to sensitive areas, including master keys, storage rooms, and secure files.
Maintain high standards for sanitation and cleanliness across facilities and equipment.
Step in for the Housekeeping Manager when they are away.
