About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations at Hyatt Place East Moline / Quad Cities, helping ensure rooms and facilities are clean, comfortable, safe, and welcoming. The supervisor leads and motivates Room Attendants and House Attendants through clear communication and hands-on training, and steps in when the Housekeeping Manager is away. The position requires prior hotel housekeeping experience and open availability, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of experience in a hotel or related field is required.
• Prior hotel housekeeping experience is required.
• Open availability, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• College coursework in a related field.
• Previous supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including inspections, reports, and productivity checks.
• Lead, communicate with, and motivate Room Attendants and House Attendants.
• Provide hands-on training to housekeeping team members.
• Step in for the Housekeeping Manager when they are away.
• Handle lost-and-found items and maintain key control.
• Manage access to sensitive areas, including master keys, storage rooms, and secure files.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards across facilities and equipment.
