About The Position

The House Attendant helps keep hotel public areas and equipment clean and sanitary, responds to guest requests, supports meeting and event setups, and assists the housekeeping team. The role calls for attention to detail, a service-focused attitude, the ability to handle physical tasks, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Duties also include safeguarding sensitive areas, managing lost-and-found items responsibly, and following safe work practices. The position is at Hyatt Place Phoenix-North, a guest-focused hotel near Glendale attractions. The property includes The Placery, which serves food and beverages, and 900 square feet of flexible meeting space for corporate events and social gatherings.

Requirements

Ability to perform physical tasks.

Ability to stay calm and work well under pressure.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required for driving roles.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Hospitality experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across hotel facilities and equipment, including lobbies, restrooms, carpets, and furniture.
Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, including delivering requested items and services.
Assist with setting up meeting rooms and events and ensure details are in place.
Safeguard sensitive areas.
Manage lost-and-found items responsibly.
Follow safe work practices to help prevent injuries and maintain a secure environment.
Support the housekeeping team.
