About The Position

The House Attendant maintains cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hotel’s public areas and facilities, responds to guest requests, assists with meeting-room and event setup, and supports the housekeeping team. The role requires attention to detail, a service-oriented attitude, and the ability to handle physical tasks. Weekend availability and the ability to work a mix of AM and PM shifts are requested.

The position is at Hyatt Place Houston/Galleria, near The Galleria shopping center and Downtown Houston. The property offers breakfast service and a bar.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks.
• Attention to detail and a readiness to handle varied tasks.
• Friendly, service-oriented approach to guest interactions.
• Ability to remain calm and work well under pressure.
• Weekend availability and availability to work a mix of AM and PM shifts.
• For driving roles, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospitality experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across facilities and equipment, including lobbies, restrooms, carpets, and furniture.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, including delivering requested items.
• Assist with setting up meeting rooms and events, ensuring details are in place.
• Help safeguard sensitive areas and manage lost-and-found items responsibly.
• Follow safe work practices to help prevent injuries and maintain a secure environment.
• Support the housekeeping team.
