About The Position
The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations at SpringHill Suites Bloomington, ensuring rooms, facilities, and equipment meet cleanliness and sanitation standards. The supervisor leads Room Attendants and House Attendants through clear communication, hands-on training, and team support, and may step in when the Housekeeping Manager is away. Responsibilities also include inspections, reports, productivity checks, lost-and-found, key control, and safeguarding access to sensitive areas. The role requires previous hotel housekeeper experience and open availability between 7 AM and 7 PM as needed, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Previous hotel housekeeper experience.
- Two to three years of experience in a hotel or related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Open availability between 7 AM and 7 PM as needed.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.

- College coursework in a related field.
- Previous supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including inspections, reports, and productivity checks.
- Lead and motivate Room Attendants and House Attendants through clear communication and hands-on training.
- Step in for the Housekeeping Manager when needed.
- Handle lost-and-found items and maintain key control.
- Manage access to sensitive areas, including master keys, storage rooms, and secure files.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness across facilities and equipment.
