About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor promotes a professional and comfortable atmosphere for residents by ensuring the facility is clean and sanitized. The supervisor manages housekeeping staff performance and actively participates in department and team activities. This role is with Campbell Street at Bridges of Ankeny in Ankeny, Iowa.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational and safety procedures are properly followed.
• Establish schedules and plan daily work assignments.
• Train and coach employees in laundry, housekeeping, and dry cleaning.
• Manage customer housekeeping problems.
• Inspect and approve staff work performance.
• Demonstrate leadership skills and provide training to staff.
• Communicate effectively with staff.
• Meet production goals.
• Develop and train staff on policy.
• Order cleaning materials and maintain the budget.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
