About The Position

The Congregation of Holy Cross, US Province is hiring a full-time Housekeeping Specialist in Notre Dame, Indiana. The role helps maintain a clean, welcoming environment for residents and guests and ensures sanitation standards throughout the buildings. Duties include cleaning hard-surface floors, resident and guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. The position offers a Monday-through-Friday schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with pay of $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Basic knowledge of technology and standard office equipment, mainly computers.

Nice To Haves

• At least 6 months of relevant experience.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a public setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and welcoming spaces for residents and guests.
• Ensure sanitation standards throughout the buildings.
• Sweep and mop hard-surface floors.
• Clean resident and guest rooms.
• Freshen bathrooms and tidy common areas.
