About The Position

Croixdale, a Presbyterian Homes & Services senior living community in Bayport, Minnesota, is seeking an on-call Housekeeping Services Assistant. The role requires working a minimum of two shifts per month. Housekeeping staff maintain cleanliness in work areas, buildings, and grounds, and help ensure an attractive, comfortable home consistent with regulations and established policies and procedures. The community provides assisted living and assisted living with memory care.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in work areas, buildings, and grounds.
• Perform general cleaning, floor care, washing, sanitizing, polishing furniture and fixtures, waste removal, supply stocking, and window cleaning.
• Collect laundry from resident rooms and designated areas; sort, label, wash, dry, and distribute linens and resident personal clothing according to the assigned schedule.
• Iron articles as required and inspect laundry and linens.
• Inform the supervisor of replacement needs for communication with residents and families.
• Replenish housekeeping and laundry supplies in work areas.
• Clean and properly store equipment, tools, and supplies at the end of each shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
