About The Position

Biltmore Farms is seeking a Housekeeping Room Attendant to join their team at the Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park. This role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel facilities, which is of utmost importance. The successful candidate will be a strong team player, dedicated to accomplishing daily cleaning tasks, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The position involves treating each hotel guest like a house guest and contributing to a friendly and supportive work environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with housekeeping, including ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, and reach
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with cleaning products
  • Must be strong team players

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of experience in hotel housekeeping
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience
  • Knowledge of standard cleaning techniques and hospitality industry standards

Responsibilities

  • Clean rooms per assignment and per hotel standards.
  • Refers guest complaints concerning housekeeping service to Lead Housekeeper.
  • Notifies Lead Housekeeper of any needed repairs.
  • Helps guest and associates in every way possible when called upon and does it willingly and pleasantly.
  • Treat each hotel guest like a house guest.
  • Brings lost items to the attention of the Lead Housekeeper.
  • Wear the appropriate uniform and nametag at all times on property.
