About The Position

Biltmore Farms, as part of the Vanderbilt legacy of hospitality, is seeking a Housekeeping Room Attendant for the Hampton Inn & Suites - Biltmore Village. The cleanliness of the facilities is of utmost importance, and this role is a crucial part of the dedicated team that accomplishes this daily. Successful candidates are expected to be strong team players. The company offers a friendly and supportive work environment with opportunities for learning and growth. For the safety and well-being of employees and guests, the onboarding process includes a criminal history disclosure and screening.

Requirements

  • Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with housekeeping, including ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to frequently bend, stoop, and reach.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.
  • Must have ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work with cleaning products.
  • Wear the appropriate uniform and nametag at all times on property.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of experience in hotel housekeeping.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience.
  • Knowledge of standard cleaning techniques and hospitality industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Clean rooms per assignment and per hotel standards.
  • Refers guest complaints concerning housekeeping service to Lead Housekeeper.
  • Notifies Lead Housekeeper of any needed repairs.
  • Helps guest and associates in every way possible when called upon and does it willingly and pleasantly.
  • Treat each hotel guest like a house guest.
  • Brings lost items to the attention of the Lead Housekeeper.
  • Wear the appropriate uniform and nametag at all times on property.
