About The Position

Perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain hotel rooms in a clean and orderly manner. This position is a Seasonal position and will have a prospective end date assigned at hire. Associates are paid weekly! The role involves maintaining hotel rooms to brand standards, including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, bathrooms, and halls, and vacuuming. It also requires managing time effectively, communicating with guests and management, and adhering to safety procedures.

  • Ability to work within recognized time frame appropriate to the task.
  • Ability to follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve all standards of operation.

  • Must pass criminal background check.
  • Must adhere to the Hotel’s safety standards and procedures (i.e., hearing, eye, hand protection for equipment operation).

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning duties to maintain hotel rooms in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Make beds, replenish linens, clean rooms, bathrooms, and halls, and vacuum.
  • Unload and load housekeeping cart with supplies.
  • Replace cleaning supplies.
  • Report all problems and any maintenance repairs as needed.
  • Communicate with supervisor regarding room status, work progress, and all guest requests and problems.
  • Record and turn in all lost & found items.
  • Keep cart clean, neat, and stocked.
  • Report any unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned, including cross training.
  • Work within recognized time frames appropriate to the task.
  • Meet expected cleaning times for rooms according to brand standard.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Treat others with respect and behave in a positive, productive manner that encourages teamwork.
  • Effectively manage time (e.g., time spent per room, planning, prioritizing).
  • Communicate with guests, management, and team members.
  • Work under time constraints and in a fast-paced environment.
