About The Position

The DoubleTree by Hilton Asheville - Biltmore location, where this position is based, is expected to close in summer 2026 for renovation. This position is time-limited due to the expected closure of this hotel property. Transfers to one of three other Biltmore Farms hotels may be available to hired associates in advance of the planned closure, but are not guaranteed. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning rooms per assignment and hotel standards, referring guest complaints and needed repairs to the Lead Housekeeper, assisting guests and associates, treating guests like house guests, and bringing lost items to the attention of the Lead Housekeeper. The cleanliness of the facilities is of utmost importance, and successful candidates must be strong team players.

Requirements

Must be strong team players.
Must be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds.
Must be capable of constant walking, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
Must be able to work with cleaning products and solvents regularly.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience in hotel housekeeping.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience.
Knowledge of standard cleaning techniques and hospitality industry standards.

Responsibilities

Clean rooms per assignment and per hotel standards.
Refers guest complaints concerning housekeeping service to Lead Housekeeper.
Notifies Lead Housekeeper of any needed repairs.
Helps guest and associates in every way possible when called upon and does it willingly and pleasantly.
Treat each hotel guest like a house guest.
Brings lost items to the attention of the Lead Housekeeper.
