About The Position

The Housekeeping Operations Supervisor assists in providing owners and guests with memorable vacation experiences in a supportive hospitality environment. The role verifies and updates room status, prioritizes cleaning, prepares work assignments for housekeeping staff, and inspects guest rooms and shared spaces to ensure quality standards. The supervisor coordinates with other departments and supports guest service, teamwork, company standards, and safety procedures.

Requirements

Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
Able to reach overhead and below the knees; perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping; and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Able to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
A valid driver's license and at least one year of clean driving history may be required.
May be subject to background and drug screening, contingent on company policy and applicable legal requirements.

Responsibilities

Verify room status listed on reports, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update the status of departing guest rooms.
Prepare and distribute assignment sheets or workboards to housekeeping staff.
Inspect cleaned guest rooms to ensure standards are met.
Inspect cleaned public areas, including bathrooms, restaurants, the fitness center, pool area, offices, and service areas, to ensure quality standards are met.
Coordinate tasks and work with other departments to help the department run efficiently.
Welcome and greet guests, anticipate and address their needs, and interact professionally and promptly with colleagues and guests.
Contribute to team goals and follow company policies and safety procedures.
