About The Position
This role supports the Rooms Manager in overseeing daily housekeeping operations and ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficiency throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The position supervises housekeeping staff, maintains quality control, manages inventory, and supports guest satisfaction while adhering to hotel policies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing the daily operations of housekeeping, laundry, and public area cleaning.
- Ensure all areas meet the hotel’s cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain quality control.
- Implement and enforce hotel brand standards, health regulations, and safety protocols.
- Assist with recruiting, training, and supervising housekeeping staff.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among associates.
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback.
- Assist in managing inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
- Ensure lost and found procedures are followed.
- Work closely with other departments, including front office and maintenance, to enhance the guest experience.
