About The Position

The Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant is primarily responsible for maintaining the facility in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner in accordance with Trilogy Standards and federal and state regulations. The role may include housekeeping and laundry tasks. Housekeeping duties include daily and deep cleaning, including move-in and move-out assignments and isolation cleaning procedures. Laundry duties include washing and drying resident laundry and linens, delivering and putting away laundered items, maintaining and storing equipment, and labeling resident laundry.

• High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, family members, and employees, including resident rooms and bathrooms, common areas, offices, and employee areas.
• Perform daily cleaning assignments and deep cleaning assignments for move-ins and move-outs.
• Perform isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures.
• Keep work and assigned areas clean and properly store equipment, tools, and supplies, including before leaving areas for breaks, mealtimes, and at the end of the workday.
• When performing laundry tasks, wash and dry resident laundry and linens, deliver and put away laundered items, properly use, store, and maintain equipment, and label resident laundry.
