About The Position

The Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant is responsible for maintaining the facility in a clean, safe, and comfortable condition in accordance with Trilogy standards and federal and state regulations. The role includes daily and deep cleaning assignments, infection-control cleaning, and, when assigned, washing, drying, labeling, delivering, and putting away resident laundry and linens. The position is located at StoneBridge Health Campus in Bedford, Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, family members, and employees, including resident rooms and bathrooms, common areas, offices, and employee areas.
• Perform daily cleaning assignments and deep cleaning for move-ins and move-outs.
• Perform isolation cleaning in accordance with established infection-control procedures.
• Keep work areas clean and ensure equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored, including before leaving areas for breaks, mealtimes, and the end of the workday.
• When performing laundry tasks, wash and dry resident laundry and linens, deliver and put away laundered items, properly use, store, and maintain equipment, and label resident laundry.
