About The Position

The Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant is primarily responsible for maintaining the facility in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner in accordance with Trilogy Standards and applicable federal and state regulations. The role serves residents, family members, and employees by cleaning resident rooms and bathrooms, common areas, offices, and employee areas. Duties may also include washing and drying resident laundry and linens, delivering and putting away laundered items, and labeling resident laundry.

• High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, family members, and employees.
• Perform daily cleaning assignments and deep cleaning for move-ins and move-outs.
• Perform isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures.
• Keep work and assigned areas clean, and properly store equipment, tools, and supplies, including before leaving areas for breaks, mealtimes, and at the end of the workday.
• When assigned laundry tasks, wash and dry resident laundry and linens, deliver and put away laundered items, properly use, store, and maintain equipment, and label resident laundry.
