About The Position

The Housekeeping Houseperson is a member of the Housekeeping Team and helps maintain the hotel’s cleanliness and appearance while supporting guest satisfaction. The role maintains guest-floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public vending areas; stocks linen closets with amenities and supplies for Room Attendants; and removes soiled linens and trash from corridors and carts. The Houseperson also assists with deep cleaning guestrooms and preventative maintenance tasks, and responds thoughtfully to guest requests. The wage range is $17–$18 per hour. The position requires lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling loads weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as reaching overhead, scrubbing, bending, and stooping for extended periods and working in confined spaces. A high school diploma or equivalent and CPR/First Aid certification are required; previous Housekeeping House Person Attendant experience is preferred.

Requirements

High school diploma or its equivalent.
CPR/First Aid Certification required.
Lift, carry, push, or pull loads weighing up to 50 pounds.
Extend arms overhead, scrub, bend, and stoop for extended periods, and work in confined spaces.

Previous Housekeeping House Person Attendant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Promptly address guest requests with genuine engagement and thoughtfulness to support guest satisfaction.
Maintain guest-floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public vending areas to high cleanliness standards.
Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for Room Attendants.
Remove soiled linens and trash from guest-floor corridors and carts, including during peak occupancy periods.
Perform deep cleaning activities in guestrooms alongside preventative maintenance tasks.
