About The Position

The Housekeeping Houseperson supports the housekeeping department in maintaining clean, welcoming guest and public areas and helping deliver exceptional service. The role includes delivering linens and supplies, restocking housekeeping carts, maintaining inventory, cleaning assigned public areas, and responding courteously to guest requests. The Houseperson also assists with special projects and deep-cleaning tasks, follows safety and sanitation standards, and works collaboratively with the housekeeping team in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or related experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean linens, towels, and other supplies to guest rooms.
• Restock housekeeping carts and maintain an inventory of supplies.
• Clean and maintain public areas, including corridors, elevators, and lobbies.
• Empty trash and maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries.
• Support the housekeeping team with special projects and deep-cleaning tasks.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to support efficient operations.
