About The Position

Journey is hiring a Housekeeping / Floor Tech to help maintain clean and sanitary resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. The role includes operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, managing supplies and linens, and supporting residents with sensitivity to their privacy and individual needs. The position follows infection control policies and requires accurate completion of required documentation. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED diploma.

Nice To Haves

• Previous long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and deep cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, including dusting, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and managing trash and waste materials.
• Safely and effectively operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and floor buffers.
• Prepare and distribute supply packs and linens as needed.
• Respect residents’ privacy and individual needs.
• Follow infection control policies.
• Complete all required documentation accurately.
