About The Position

HHS is hiring Housekeeping/Floor Tech team members to provide a high level of cleaning quality in a hospital environment and help create a safe, clean, comfortable setting where patients can heal. The position is at Wellstar North Fulton Medical Center. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, including PM part-time housekeeping, overnight full-time housekeeping, and PM full-time Floor Tech shifts. A background check, drug screen, and proof of U.S. employment eligibility are required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
Must maintain good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and wear a uniform.
Must pass a background check and drug screen and provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
Must be able to perform the listed physical activities throughout a shift, including standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching.
Must be able to continuously push and pull carts or equipment weighing over 100 lb. on tile and carpeted floors.
Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants.
Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform the essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

Housekeeping experience, including cleaning, environmental services, custodial or janitorial work, room attendant duties, floor care, hotel operations, or healthcare experience.
Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Clean assigned hospital areas, including patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas.
Follow HHS cleaning procedures and best practices.
Provide friendly and kind service to individuals in the hospital.
Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.
