About The Position
Confidence Management Solutions is recruiting part-time Housekeeping Staff & Floor Tech for a long-term care nursing facility in Jonesboro, Georgia. The role performs housekeeping and floor-care duties to maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility. On-the-job training is provided, and walk-ins are welcome.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to operate automatic floor-scrubbing machines and floor buffers.
Nice To Haves
- For housekeeping duties, one year of long-term care, hospital, or healthcare experience is preferred.
- Environmental Services or housekeeping experience is a plus for floor-tech duties.
- Prior experience working in a nursing home, hospital, or healthcare environment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain proper cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.
- Dispose of trash, bio-hazard waste, and other materials.
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
- Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility.
- Safely operate floor-care equipment, including an extractor, auto-scraper, high-speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.
- Perform other job-related duties as required.
