About The Position

As an Environmental Services (EVS) representative at Gateway Hospital, you will help continue Deaconess’s healing mission. The EVS department provides hands-on training during a two-week orientation period, and no prior experience is required. EVS roles include housekeeping, floor care, waste processing, and project work. This is a part-time evening-shift position, scheduled from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Requirements

• No prior experience is needed.
• Must work every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect as a housekeeper.
• Clean and maintain floors as a floor care representative.
• Transport waste to collection and/or disposal points as a waste processor.
• Move furniture, set up events, and operate UV lights as a project worker.
• Work every other weekend and rotating holidays.
