About The Position

Provides and oversees cleaning and disinfection services to maintain a hygienic environment for patients and staff in a healthcare setting. The position works a Monday–Friday, four-hour evening shift, with no weekends or holidays.

Requirements

• Ability to use a computer.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Prior cleaning experience in a healthcare setting is helpful.
• Knowledge of cleaning materials, equipment, and methods is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Initiate daily cleaning and disinfecting activities, including cleaning patient rooms and operating rooms and distributing clean linens, in accordance with cleanliness, disinfection, and hygiene standards.
• Educate cleaning staff on the proper use of cleaning equipment and sterilization agents.
• Ensure furnishings and equipment are in good repair.
• Inspect areas, equipment, and linens for cleanliness and compliance with regulations and standards.
• Maintain records and submit reports concerning housekeeping supplies, equipment, and personnel.
