About The Position

Logan Health is hiring an Environmental Services Technician at Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, Montana. This role helps maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for patients, visitors, and employees. Environmental Services contributes to patient care by supporting infection prevention and providing comfortable environments for healing. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, on an eight-hour evening shift. Logan Health operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and schedules may be adjusted to accommodate position and organizational needs.

The technician cleans and cares for assigned areas, follows cleaning and safety procedures, uses equipment and supplies safely, keeps carts stocked, and reports equipment problems. The role also involves responding promptly and professionally to pages and requests, organizing work as priorities change, protecting confidential information, and collaborating with other team members and departments. Candidates should be dependable, detail-oriented, able to work independently and with a team, and willing to learn. Healthcare experience is not required.

Requirements

• One year of related work experience.
• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, environmental services, healthcare, hotels, restaurants, or another service-related job.
• Experience answering phones or responding to pages.
• Experience using commercial cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and care for assigned areas throughout Logan Health.
• Help keep patient and work areas clean, safe, and ready for use.
• Follow cleaning, safety, and infection prevention procedures.
• Use cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies safely.
• Keep cleaning carts stocked with supplies needed for each shift.
• Care for equipment and report problems when needed.
• Respond to pages and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete tasks without step-by-step direction and prioritize work when needs change.
• Protect private patient and employee information.
• Work with team members and departments to complete work.
• Follow Logan Health policies, department procedures, and safety rules.
