About The Position

Logan Health is hiring an Environmental Services Technician at Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, Montana. This full-time position works an eight-hour evening shift, totaling 40 hours per week. The technician helps maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for patients, visitors, and employees. Environmental Services contributes to patient care by helping prevent the spread of germs and infection and ensuring patients have a clean, comfortable place to heal.

The role involves cleaning assigned areas, preparing patient and work areas for use, following safety and infection-prevention procedures, and maintaining cleaning carts and equipment. The technician responds to pages and requests, works independently and with other teams, prioritizes changing tasks, and protects private patient and employee information. Logan Health operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week; schedules are set to meet position and organizational needs and may be adjusted.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Clean and care for assigned areas throughout Logan Health.
• Help keep patient and work areas clean, safe, and ready for use.
• Follow cleaning, safety, and infection-prevention procedures.
• Use cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies safely.
• Keep cleaning carts stocked with supplies needed for each shift.
• Care for equipment and report problems when needed.
• Respond to pages and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete tasks without requiring step-by-step direction.
• Prioritize tasks when needs or priorities change.
• Protect private patient and employee information.
• Work with team members and other departments.
