About The Position

The Housekeeping Crew is an on-call, per-event employee responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of Chaifetz Arena. The role involves cleaning the seating bowl, concourse, suites, restrooms, and locker rooms for various events. The position pays $16.00–$18.00 per hour and will remain open until December 31, 2026. Part-time benefits include a 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. Shifts are generally evening or overnight and may range from 4 to 12 hours. Employees must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

1–2 years of related work experience cleaning multiple facilities.
Working knowledge of building cleaning practices, methods, supplies, and equipment.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend continuously.
Ability to perform routine and repetitive custodial tasks without immediate supervision.
Must be a team player and perform tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Ability to lift heavy objects on a regular basis.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to work in a safe and effective manner.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms and bathrooms using established practices and procedures.
Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty and clean wastebaskets and trash containers; and refill restroom dispensers.
Use and maintain assigned equipment and hand tools.
Maintain a safe environment for patrons by removing liquids and debris from walkways throughout the building during events.
Report known or expected irregularities to the immediate supervisor to ensure compliance.
Follow OSHA and in-house safety guidelines.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by a supervisor.
