About The Position

The Housekeeping Attendant is part of the heart of house team at The Ryder, a boutique hotel. The role helps provide guests with a memorable and comfortable stay by keeping guestrooms clean, stocked, and inviting. Duties include changing towels, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and responding thoughtfully and knowledgeably to guest requests. The position also involves cleaning and sanitizing rooms, replenishing supplies, maintaining linen closets, and following guestroom security and lost-and-found procedures.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and dirty linens from guestrooms.
• Use cleaning chemicals to clean and sanitize each guestroom.
• Replenish supplies and amenities to the required standard.
• Vacuum carpets and clean hard flooring to the required standard.
• Deliver or retrieve items requested by guests.
• Ensure guestrooms are secured.
• Follow the lost-and-found policy for guest items left behind.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of linen closets.
• Change towels, make beds, and clean bathrooms.
• Address guest requests thoughtfully and knowledgeably.
