About The Position

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms, public areas, and event spaces, helping uphold the hospitality standards expected by guests. The role involves completing cleaning tasks according to established procedures and safety protocols, responding courteously to guest requests, and working with colleagues to support smooth operations and guest satisfaction. The attendant also maintains housekeeping carts, supply closets, and the general work environment, and reports suspicious activity, safety hazards, or guest concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Requirements

• Prior cleaning experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional service.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift and carry up to 40 lbs for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, reliable attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to constantly stand and walk, with occasional stooping, kneeling, ascending, reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Additional education or training in hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms to meet standards for cleanliness and presentation.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of public areas, including restrooms, hallways, and the event pavilion.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately, following cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Keep the work environment, housekeeping carts, and supply closets clean and organized.
• Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and guest concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Take initiative, solve problems creatively, exercise good judgment, pay attention to detail, and anticipate and exceed guest expectations.
