About The Position

Porters Neck Village is hiring a part-time Housekeeping Associate to perform housekeeping and laundry functions throughout the senior living community. The role helps maintain an attractive, clean, comfortable, sanitary, and organized environment that meets residents’ needs. The scheduled hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, at $15 per hour. The position is part of a hospitality-focused community. Associates are expected to follow the LCS Hospitality Promises, including greeting residents, employees, and guests warmly; treating everyone with respect; anticipating and responding to needs; listening and responding promptly; holding themselves and colleagues accountable; valuing differences; making people feel important; maintaining professionalism in conduct and appearance; and paying attention to detail.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to work around household pets such as cats and dogs.
Ability to work in inclement weather while walking from home to home.

Nice To Haves

Three to six months of experience in a housekeeping or janitorial position preferred.
