About The Position

Trinity Place, part of Lutheran Services Carolinas, is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. The role includes routine cleaning of assigned areas, reporting maintenance needs and hazards, maintaining confidentiality, communicating courteously, participating in ongoing training, and cross-training for laundry duties as required.

The full-time schedule is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday, with two additional days off during the week. A part-time schedule is also offered: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday, with alternating Friday and Tuesday workweeks. Weekend and second-shift hours (3 p.m.–11 p.m.) receive an additional $3 per hour. Base pay reflects experience, and daily pay options allow access to earnings before payday. Employees who opt out of benefits may earn an additional $3 per hour. Benefits eligibility begins after 30 days and includes insurance coverage, paid time off, and access to a no-premium health insurance option.

The work is predominantly indoors, with occasional outdoor assignments and possible exposure to cleaning agents. Infrequent contact with blood or bodily fluids may occur. Trinity Place’s community received the 2024 Bronze Commitment to Quality Award from AHCA/NCAL.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• High level of attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs regularly, and to stand, bend, and climb as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Dust, sweep, and mop assigned areas.
• Empty and sanitize waste receptacles.
• Clean bathrooms and fixtures.
• Wipe down walls and chrome fixtures.
• Report maintenance requirements and potential hazards.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate courteously.
• Engage in ongoing training and embody organizational values.
• Cross-train for laundry duties as required.
