About The Position

Trinity Place, part of Lutheran Services Carolinas, is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. The role includes routine cleaning of assigned areas, reporting maintenance needs and hazards, communicating courteously and confidentially, participating in ongoing training, and cross-training for laundry duties as required.

The posting describes a full-time schedule of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday, with two additional days off during the week. It also describes a part-time schedule of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday, with alternating Friday and Tuesday workweeks. Weekend and second-shift hours (3 p.m. to 11 p.m.) receive an additional $3 per hour. Benefits are available after 30 days and include insurance coverage, paid time off, and access to a no-premium health insurance option. Employees who opt out of benefits may earn an additional $3.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• High level of attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs regularly, and to stand, bend, and climb as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Dust, sweep, and mop assigned areas.
• Empty and sanitize waste receptacles.
• Clean bathrooms and fixtures.
• Wipe down walls and chrome fixtures.
• Report maintenance requirements and potential hazards.
