About The Position

The Housekeeping Aide provides cleaning and laundry services to help maintain a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and the public at Salem Crossing. The role calls for a supportive presence, teamwork toward excellent resident care, and the stamina, strength, and endurance needed to provide cleaning services. Team members are expected to demonstrate American Senior Communities’ C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Stamina, strength, and endurance to provide cleaning services.
• Ability to work toward a shared goal as part of a team.
• Supportive presence when interacting with residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning services to maintain a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment.
• Provide laundry services for residents, staff, and the public.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Work with the team toward the common goal of excellent resident care.
