About The Position

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring full-time Housekeepers at The Ridgeline Hotel in Gardiner, Montana. Housekeepers maintain the cleanliness of the facility to uphold high standards and enhance the guest experience. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing public areas, rooms, and restrooms, maintaining organized work areas, assisting guests when needed, and reporting maintenance issues. Limited to no experience is required. On-site shared dorm-style housing is available, with internet and utilities included.

Requirements

Limited to no experience required.
Working knowledge of cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures.
Ability to work quickly under pressure and follow instructions.
Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations.
Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, stair climbing, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying.
Ability to use hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing and washing duties.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Visual acuity sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces.
No high school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

Previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean and sanitize public areas, rooms, and restrooms.
Empty wastebaskets, transport trash to the disposal area, and replenish supplies.
Walk assigned areas to ensure they meet housekeeping standards.
Keep linen rooms and work areas neat, clean, and organized.
Interact with and assist guests occasionally while cleaning guest and meeting rooms.
Report maintenance repair problems to a supervisor.
Turn in and log all lost-and-found items daily.
